Designing Digital Experiences That Connect

We're a team of UX/UI designers who believe great mobile apps start with understanding real people and their daily challenges

Our Journey Started With a Simple Question

Back in 2019, we kept seeing beautiful apps that nobody wanted to use. Apps with stunning visuals but confusing navigation. Apps that looked perfect in screenshots but frustrated people in real life.

So we asked ourselves: what if we focused on how people actually think and move through digital spaces? What if we designed for the moments when someone's rushing to catch a bus, or trying to solve a problem while juggling three other things?

"Every app we design gets tested by real people in real situations. Because beautiful interfaces mean nothing if they don't work when life gets messy."

What Drives Our Design Process

These aren't just nice words on a wall. They're the principles that guide every design decision we make.

Users First, Always

We start every project by talking to the people who will actually use the app. Their frustrations, habits, and goals shape everything we create. No assumptions, just real conversations with real people.

Simplicity That Works

Simple doesn't mean boring or basic. It means removing everything that doesn't help someone accomplish their goal. Every button, every screen, every interaction has to earn its place.

Test Early, Test Often

We prototype fast and get feedback faster. Why guess what works when you can watch someone actually try to use your app? Most breakthrough moments happen during these testing sessions.

How We Turn Ideas Into Intuitive Experiences

Our approach combines strategic thinking with hands-on design work. We don't just make things look good – we make them work better for the people using them every day.

  • User research and behavioral analysis to understand real needs
  • Information architecture that makes complex apps feel simple
  • Interactive prototypes for testing ideas before development
  • Visual design that guides users naturally through tasks
  • Usability testing with real users in realistic scenarios

The People Behind the Pixels

We're a small team that believes good design comes from diverse perspectives and honest collaboration. Here's a bit about who we are and how we work together.

Soo-jin Kim, Lead UX Designer at Glowmindtech

Soo-jin Kim

Lead UX Designer

Soo-jin has this amazing ability to spot the exact moment when an interface starts confusing people. She leads our user research and has a talent for asking the questions that uncover what users really need.

Small Team, Big Impact on Mobile Experiences

We intentionally stay small because we believe better work comes from close collaboration. Everyone here wears multiple hats and contributes to both the strategic thinking and the detailed design work.

Our backgrounds span psychology, visual design, and software development. That mix helps us create apps that work well technically and feel intuitive to use. We spend a lot of time talking through problems together before anyone opens a design tool.

Our Design Philosophy in Action

Good UX design isn't about following trends or applying the latest techniques. It's about understanding the specific problem you're trying to solve and the specific people who need to solve it. Here's how we approach each project.

Discovery Through Real Conversations

We start by talking to people who represent your actual users. Not surveys or focus groups, but one-on-one conversations about their current frustrations and what they're trying to accomplish.

Designing for Mental Models

People already have expectations about how apps should work. We design interfaces that match these mental models instead of forcing users to learn new patterns.

Iteration Based on Behavior

We watch how people actually interact with our prototypes, then adjust based on what we observe. Sometimes the best insights come from watching someone get confused in a specific spot.

Why This Matters

Apps that feel intuitive don't happen by accident. They're the result of careful attention to how people think, what they expect, and what helps them accomplish their goals efficiently.
